Shabbat Services are held, on average, twice per month, and include an Oneg after both the Friday and Saturday services. Occasional family potluck Shabbat dinners follow the Friday evening services.
Several Bar and Bat Mitzvahs are celebrated each year, prepared by Cantor Levin.
High Holy Day services are held, (including both days of Rosh Hashanah) and there are community celebrations for major events of the Jewish calendar throughout the year. An annual highlight is the Community Seder on the second night of Pesach.
Our services are spiritual, egalitarian, haimish, welcoming, participatory, and musical, with a comfortable blending of traditional and contemporary elements. In March 2007, we acquired a second Sefer Torah scroll.
Services are led by Cantor Steve Levin.
