“… share your bread with the hungry” — Isaiah 58:7
Each year, the Jewish Family Service Agency, in collaboration with Jewish Women International-BC, operates Project Isaiah – a High Holy Day food drive that assists members of our community in need.
A successful response to Project Isaiah is vital to continue to feed 400 Greater Vancouver Jewish community members who rely on our support.
Special bags will be available at our Rosh HaShanah services - or use your own. After the bags are filled with non-perishable food, they may be dropped off at the WRSSJCC. All donations go directly to the Jewish Food Bank to assist individuals and families. A list of suggested items is at right.
Cash donations are always welcome. Click here for information.
You can perform a mitzvah and keep the Food Bank stocked for our community in the coming year.
